1–10: HARD AND SOFT



1–10

To make a room interesting and surprising to walk into, it needs contrasts in hard and soft materials. The walls are the shell, the breakable feature, so is the floor and tiles. Also the colour on the walls in hard or soft tones. The furniture can often be quite hard and harsh too, depending on style, and so it's very important to bring in this soft factor to get a kind of balance in the elements. But it's totally the same with too soft rooms. Then it's as important to bring in something colder and harder. Textile and upholstered furniture play the game with the harder rooms. Glass, plastic and steel are some examples to get the contrasts in the softer rooms. Let's play the game and find the game changer for the room!
