Like we've talked about several times on Home and Delicious, our family seems to be interested in Nutella! That's related to our interest in all things Italian and having lived in Milan for a while. Last sunday happened to be a kind of Nutella-sunday in our cottage as I made some recipes I wanted to try for a while; Nutella latte, hot chocolate and peanut butter cookies with Nutella filling. We all happened to like the result a lot and therefor I post the recipes for you to try this weekend. Super easy but also cozy and true to this time of the year. Read more for the recipes.

1-2 tsp Nutella
Steamed milk/foam

Made some fresh espresso. Stir in Nutella and add the milk. Drizzle with some cocoa.

Nutella-hot chocolate

1-2 tsp Nutella
Steamed milk/foam

Steam the milk and make some foam. Stir in Nutella. Add some foam. Drizzle with some cocoa.

100 g soft butter
1/3 c sugar
1/3 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 c peanut butter
½ tsp vanilla essence
1 ½ c flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
Sea salt

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius. Stir together butter, sugar and vanilla, then add the egg and stir until soft and fluffy. Add the peanut butter and stir. Add the dry ingredients and stir. You might not need all the flour but the mixture need to be quite thick. Scoop the mixture onto prepared baking sheet, making balls the size you prefer on cookies. Flatten them slightly. Bake for 5-7 minutes, depends on size. Then press thumb into centre of the warm cookie or use the back of a utensil to create a hole. Bake again for another 5-7 minutes, take out of the oven and spoon Nutella in the holes. Sprinkle with sea salt. Set to cool before enjoyed.
