Once we're so lucky staying at an amazing hotel in London were the breakfast was as amazing. The granola there was so amazing too that when back home I was in desperate need of finding out how it was made. After some research and testings I manage to made it similar but surely not as one of a kind type of granola. Following is the idea how to make it at home. Read more. 






When I make the granola I sometimes make it from scratch and sometimes buy what I like and know works well. You only need to have it plain with no added flavour. It's the flavour we're making to make it special! 


400 g granola of your choice
150-200 g added cereal of your choice
2 msk cane sugar or brown sugar
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cinnamon

1 dl canola oil or sunflower oil
2 dl apple puré

2 dl peanut butter of your choice
2 dl water
2 msk maple syrup 

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Mix the dry ingredients. Mix the oil and apple puré and stir all together. Spread the granola mixture over the baking sheet and put in the oven for 20-30 minutes, depending on how crunchy you want it to be. You need to stir the granola once or twice during the time in the oven and take care not to burn it as it happens quite fast. Remove from the oven and let it cool. Put in a big bowl. 
Melt the peanut butter, water and maple syrup in a pan and stir well. Pour over the granola in the bowl and mix super well. Spread the granola again on the baking sheet and allow to stand for some time to cool and dry. Enjoy this granola as a delicious breakfast!
