It's that time of the year again, baking, enjoying, cozying! I made these darlings this weekend and they are a hit. So super easy that they will be done again and again in the present future. Few ingredients, just mix and in the oven. Look great and taste amazingly caramel-buttery and perfect with tea and coffee. What do we need more? Read more for the recipe. 

1 cup almond meal or finely grounded almonds
1 1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup soft butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
dark chocolate

Preheat oven to 180°C. Mix the dry ingredients. Add syrup, butter and extract and stir until combined. Scoop balls of dough on a large plate with parchment paper. Make the top a little flat. Put in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Check the status of the cookies then and bake a little more if you feel like it. I say so because some prefers the cookies more soft than crunchy. Let them cool before dip in some melted chocolate, can also be white one. Freeze to cool the chocolate and serve. I keep them in the fridge.
